Description
This 150-minute online course certifies learners as a Class A/B UST Operator in the state of Florida and equips them with the knowledge and confidence to be “tank savvy”—meaning, the best UST operator possible. Approved by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), this course covers essential topics including UST technology, release detection, spill and overfill prevention, corrosion protection, and administrative responsibilities. The course is divided into 10 lessons featuring handouts, knowledge checks, and a final exam to ensure comprehension. Upon successful completion, learners will be able to identify UST system components, understand their operational responsibilities, maintain proper records, and effectively respond to issues—earning a certificate of completion as a Florida Class A/B UST Operator.
