Violence in the Workplace for Healthcare Online Training

About Course

This is an OSHA standards-based and I-CAB recognized training course for the healthcare industry. It is intended for anyone who works in a medical facility and may be exposed to violence. Topics covered in this training include impact of workplace violence on employees, impact of workplace violence on employers, responding to patient/client violence, responding to work-on-worker violence, dealing with burnout, and components of a workplace violence prevention program. It also includes a proficiency checklist that employers can use to perform a practical evaluation. Upon completion, trainees will be able to download and print a certificate or wallet card to show that they have completed the course.
