Overview

IG Group provides Live Scan fingerprinting for employment, professional licensing, certification and background checks, for any Florida agency or profession that requires an electronic fingerprint submission. We are FDLE and FBI authorized, and our fee is competitive with the sheriff's office and other providers.

Fingerprinting is by appointment only. Every appointment needs your agency's ORI number, which is on the instructions the agency gave you. Request a time below or call us on 1-772-IGGROUP.

What to bring

  • A current, government-issued photo ID.
  • Your ORI number (Originating Agency Identifier) from the agency or board requesting the prints.
  • Payment: cash or credit/debit card. Fees vary by agency and may not include FDLE/FBI processing fees.

How it works

  1. Request an appointment Use the form or call 1-772-IGGROUP, and have your ORI number ready.
  2. Come in with your ID Live Scan takes about ten minutes at our Englewood office. Free parking on-site.
  3. We submit electronically Your prints go to FDLE and, where required, the FBI, under your agency's ORI number.

Questions

What is an ORI number and where do I find it?
The Originating Agency Identifier tells FDLE which agency or licensing board receives your results. It's on the fingerprinting instructions from that agency. Without it we can't submit your prints.
Can I walk in?
No. Fingerprinting is by appointment only. Request a time online or call 1-772-IGGROUP.
How much does it cost?
Fingerprinting fees in Florida vary by agency and provider, generally between $50 and $99, and may not include extra FDLE or FBI processing fees. Call us with your ORI number for an exact price.
